| This website has been established to host family history for several Scottish families that migrated from Scotland to North Carolina, then to many other States, especially in Southeast United States. Early Scottish families settled first in Bladen, Cumberland, Moore, Richmond and Robeson Counties, North Carolina during the period from about 1739-1775. Later, descendants of these families began migrating south and west to other Southern states as these states and territories opened up.
